I dropped off the grid since the Red Clay Rally because I spent so much time getting prepared for that and left myself with a lot of catching up to do around the house!
I pretty much haven’t touched my truck since the Rally with the exception of an oil change, rear brake replacement and parking brake hardware rebuild. If it weren’t raining on and off, I would have documented it — sorry! I can say though, that the retention clips are not as tricky as some make it out to be…
Over the next couple of weeks I will try to post up a handful of things.
- Red Clay Rally stories and media.
- A review on my experience so far with the Cooper STT Pros.
- Post on tires I’ve had experience with in the winter since it’s right around the corner!
Lastly, I’ve been working with a friend, Toyota Trail Teams, on some off-road/overlanding products and may have some cool opportunities to bring a few things to market. Stay Tuned!

Great to see you’re getting back into the swing of things! Those brake jobs can definitely wait when real life calls. Looking forward to the STT Pro review—tires make such a difference in both winter performance and overall ride quality. In my work with xbjili app, I’ve learned how product testing and real-world feedback matter. Excited to see what off-road products you’ll help bring to market!
Solid article! Thinking about bankroll management & variance is key in tournaments, just like choosing a reliable platform. I’ve heard good things about 2ph game for a smooth experience – security matters a lot! Great insights here.
