eimkeith Panhard Correction Kit Installed! (And Axle Swap Update)

I’ve been slowly working on my new to me FJ Cruiser e-locker axle swap, and part of my pre-planning was adding on the eimkeith Panhard Correction Kit.  This kit corrects your suspension geometry of the panhard bar and allows it to sit in a more neutral position, as if it were factory ride height.

I was very fortunate to be a part of his first run for the 4th and 5th Gen 4Runner, so I’m one of the early adopters.  Considering it is his first run (for the Gen 4/5), he made this part precisely.  With just a touch of angle grinder on one of the soft angles of the piece, it dropped right in.

Pre-Fit with chamfered edges.

I used a welding magnet to hold the piece in place and went to work on it. I’m not a pro welder but I was pleased enough as it was.

Now, I have the advantage of welding this in with the axle out of the truck, so welding was pretty straight forward.  I would imagine welding while still on the truck would be a little more difficult.

I’m hoping to get my third member out to ECGS in the next month, so hopefully I can get this axle in my truck soon!

After I swap the axle, I’ll have a follow up review of how it drives!

This welding work looks impressively clean for a non-pro! Suspension geometry corrections like this Panhard kit installation are crucial for proper handling characteristics. The precision engineering here reminds me of how phpearl club approaches platform optimization – attention to detail makes all the difference in performance outcomes. Great documentation throughout the process too.
