This past weekend was my father in law’s birthday, and as part of his celebration we did go karts at Autobahn Speedway in Jessup, MD. I’ve never been “real” go karting before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well, it was a lot of fun!
We ran just two races of 14 laps each, but afterwards my shoulders were burning! These little cars get up to 50 mph, and they turn on rails. Of the nine racers we had that day, I ended up taking the podium 🙂
I’m really looking forward to going again and improving my lines and my times, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone interested. Was a great venue for family or friends.
